What the 75 Hard Challenge is Really About
Okay, so what exactly is the 75 Hard Challenge? It’s a 75 day commitment where you follow five daily tasks:
- 1Two workouts a day (one of which has to be outdoors, rain or shine).
- 2Drink a gallon of water every single day.
- 3Follow a diet—your choice, but no cheat meals and absolutely no alcohol.
- 4Read 10 pages of a non-fiction, self-development book. (These are my best recommendations!)
- 5Take a daily progress photo.
At first glance, it might sound intimidating.. like “75 days MK?! I can barely stick to a month of new habits” but trust me… you will learn that this challenge is all about focusing on ONE DAY AT A TIME.
And it may seem like just another fitness challenge, but it’s SO much more than that.
It’s a mental toughness challenge designed to break through all your excuses. It forces you to level up and take control of your mind and your habits.
Fitness is just one part of it—this challenge is all about building discipline and resilience.
Why You Should Take on the 75 Hard Challenge
So, why should you do it? I’m not going to sugarcoat it—it’s hard. But the rewards go beyond physical changes and you will be SO proud of yourself once you complete it.
Here’s why this challenge is worth taking on:
My Personal Journey Through the Challenge
I decided to take on the 75 Hard Challenge when I hit a point where I just felt stagnant. I needed a real challenge, something that would push me to grow, mentally and physically.
So, I jumped in headfirst.
Was it easy? Absolutely not. I had days where I thought about quitting.
Between the double workouts, meal planning, and keeping up with everything else in life, it was overwhelming at times.
But I found that the key was to take it one day at a time and just focus on getting through that day. Those little wins built up, and before I knew it, I was pushing through the hardest moments.
If I can do it, so can you. Trust me, you’ll surprise yourself with what you can achieve when you commit.
